  • Remember, social media is about conversation.  Engage prospect, customers and the media and participate.  Kepp the following tips in mind when tweeting:
  • Spread the news about your company.  Tweet awards, special events, promotions and etc.  Keep people informed of all the great happenings at your organization.
  • Positoin yourself as an industry leader.  Tweet industry news, news of organizations you belong to and information pertinent to your followers and industry.
  • Offer real time assistance.  Actively search for people tweeting about your product or service.  Engage fellow tweeters and emphasize your superior customer service.
  • Show personality.  You should not become a Twitter robot, void of any emotion.  Remember, keep things professional.  Social media should be a fun and personal way to connect and build a community.
